I have been collecting a bunch of stats for potential marketing angles and also to affirm Forgd's mission, consider the following. In 2025, net immigration in the US dropped to near zero. 2026 is projected at 321,000, which probably puts our net total in negative. Nearly half of all Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or their children. Yale's Budget Lab is projecting that by the early 2030's, 9,000 to 16,000 new firms per year just wont exist because of todays policies. Kinda crazy to think about, that 9k-16k number roughly accounts for like 3% of that pie, small sure, but thats potentially trillions lost. Forgd, hopefully, can be a remedy to this. The creators and builders exist, the infrastructure has been gatekept.
