Anthropic has confidentially filed for a U.S. IPO. The company behind Claude submitted paperwork to the SEC on June 1, setting up what could become one of the most significant AI public offerings in history. Anthropic's most recent funding round valued the company at approximately $965 billion. For the past few years, AI has largely been a private-market story. An IPO would allow public investors to directly participate in the AI boom and could establish a benchmark for how Wall Street values AI companies. The filing may also increase pressure on competitors pursuing public listings. Question: Is AI becoming the defining investment theme of this decade?
